Directions:
Wodencroft is situated to the East of the B6277, midway between the villages of Cotherstone and Romaldkirk.

Approach from the Southwest. West & North West is via the A66.
Leave the A66 at Bowes signposted A67 Barnard Castle. Immediately after end of slip road take left turn onto an unclassified road- signposted COTHERSTONE (4 1/2 miles). Turn left in Cotherstone; pass through village- pass Doe Park Farm/Caravan Park on left, pass a cottage on left-small narrow bridge-gate is immediately on right.

Approach from the East and A1
Take the A66 West from Scotch Corner- stay on the A66 for several miles and look for the junction B6277 sign posted Middleton in Teesdale, Cotherstone & High Force

The junction of the A66 and the B6277 is approx 2miles West of Greta Bridge. On leaving Cotherstone pass Doe Park Farm/Caravan Park and cottage on your left- cross narrow bridge and the gate is immediately on the right.

From North East use A1 to A689
Follow signs to Bishop Auckland then to Barnard Castle- pass through the town to Tees Bridge and turn right over the bridge onto the B6277 (if you have a good map you may cut across at Staindrop to Eggleston and Romaldkirk and onto the B6277 towards Cotherstone)
